Germania

The Germania was built by two brothers from Germany in 1865. Their names were  August and Hermann Stursberg.  Their mill number 2 is still around but the mill 1 is gone. They made wool products. These included chinchillas – overcoatings – kerseys – suitings – cloakings – worsteds – broadcloth – worsted yarns.

Sanborn 1949 map now known as the Livingston Worsted Mill but its main mill is gone and replaced by a larger storage mill
