The Chemical Paper Mill is a Newton family company. It was started in 1880 along the Third Level Canal. It was also run by the Ramage family.
They made animal sized writing paper. Other products are papeteries, bond and envelope papers, index bristols, and linen finished papers. Also white patent coated folding box boards, press and colored lined folding boards, white blanks, board specialties, and buff and white silk wrapping.
