Young Men’s Hebrew Building

The Young Men’s Hebrew Building at 314-316 High Street is from 1915. The central fire station was here but was torn down.

Then the YMHA built this building.

In at least 1922 the People’s Savings Bank moved into this block and from then on it has been named after them.
