Saint Thomas Aquinas Church is at 40 Waverly Street and is now called the Blessed Sacrament Parish. The Saint Thomas Parish is a French Canadian one. It was an offspring of the Saint Joseph Church. The school served as the church from 1908 to 1926. The first mass was in May of 1908 and was held at the Fisk’s Casino. The mass would be held there until October of that year when the school would be ready and take over functions. The church is from 1926. The church was white stucco with black trim. The church is based upon those found in rural Quebec which had stout church structures with small towers. This church is NOT based upon the Spanish mission style.

The school was at 22 Waverly Street. Its first floor was where the chapel was and its second floor was the parish hall. Another building was added to the campus in 1925 and housed the K and 3/4 grades. It was at the SE corner of Harriet and Main. The school was run by the sisters of the Holy Cross.
Saint Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church Rectory is at 17 Harriet Street in a building from 1898. This structure started out at 347 North Main Street and was moved to this location in 1914 to serve as the parish, rectory, and school. The home was made for the Johnson family and has their initials. It is in the Colonial Revival style.
