Northampton State Hospital Burial Grounds is accessible from the Northampton Cross Country Course on Burts Pit Road. In the parking lot the course starts and stops at the leftside. Take the start which is the downhill part. Walk about 2/3rd of a mile to a field. The U-shaped burial ground is on the lefthand as you walk. There will be signs on both sides. There are about 140 burials here. Most burials happened early on in the life of the Northampton State Hospital. Burials continued until the 1910s. Too bad the state does not release the burial records. Most information is coming from death data from Northampton.
