Ludlow High School was behind the 1910 edition of the high school. It was used as an elementary school from then until the late 1920s when the school was removed. The bell and the plaque were rescued and they are a memorial to the school. The base has a year of 1929 for the display. This first high school is from 1882 and was built by the Ludlow Manufactory Company. The top of the display has “Stone Marker and Bell from Original High School.” Bell is from Meneely’s of West Troy.
