Peck School pictures are from William Gorczyca from the modern construction of the school as happened in the year 2024. Completion will be in July of 2025. This school is at the same location of the prior school. The first Peck School (LOCATION) was built at the elbow of the Dingle area. It was made in 1967. A roadway was built through here in 1935 starting at the Elmwood entrance down to the dingle onto the Beech Street Extension. It was called Dingle Drive.

Sainte Anne Church at Meadow and G Streets formed in 1924.
These streets are now Memorial Avenue and New Bridge Street.
The church closed Dec. 31, 2008.
At that point of time, Sainte Anne parish was combined with Immaculate Conception and Saint Louis de France parishes to create Saint Frances-Xavier Cabrini parish. St. Louis de France Church was also closed at that point. The new parish worships at the former Immaculate Conception Church.
Saint Louis de France Church has its roots as a mission church starting in 1893. Its parent church was the Saint William’s Church of Agawam. This Agawam church is now called the Saint Theresa’s Church. The next year land was purchased and then a structure built in 1895. Rev Joseph M E Genest was the mission pastor. It would burn in 1900 but would quickly be rebuilt. The church was at 801 Main Street at the corner with Belle Avenue. It would stay a mission church until 1907. In 1966 the steeple was removed.
