Aldrich Lake and Aldrich Mill Lake has 66 acres. As a geographic feature it was called the Granby Hollow.
Aldrich Lake is to the east on the eastern side of Amherst Street. Aldrich Mill Lake is to the west and is now part of Mount Holyoke State Park.
They were built by CC Aldrich and Elbert J Aldrich in 1916.
