Easthampton Rubber Thread Company is at 32 Payson Avenue. The structure is from 1864. They made elastic cord, elastic clothe, and some rubber items. The old section of the mill is along the tracks and the newer along Payson Avenue. The newer is from the 1890s.
Rubber Thread Pond was their power source.
