donated to the city in 1916
The park is at 469 Liberty Street. It is also an arboretum.







Emily Bill Park is one of the five Bill Parks – LINK

Emily Bill Park is named after the wife of Gurdon Bill.
Belle and Franklin Streets Historic District is at the edge of the park. Along Franklin Street is the Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Jackson, Van Buren, Harrison, Tyler, and Polk. Down Belle Street which is behind Jefferson Street, is the Fillmore, Pierce, Buchanan, Lincoln, Johnson, and Grant. [there is no second Adams and there is no Taylor.] These structures are from 1914 to 1915.





Calhoun Park is a rectangular park bordered by Jefferson Avenue and then Dwight, Calhoun, and Chestnut Streets. Along Jefferson is the Jefferson Avenue School and next to it is the Calhoun Apartments. The William Clogston House is next at 95 Jefferson Avenue.
The Richard Horner House is at 1470 Dwight Street Springfield.
The George Leach House is at 70 Calhoun, the Eleftherious Pilalas House is at 96, the Hoyt Howard House is at 108, the Ellis Miner House is at 114, and the Leroy Brown House is at 120.
