West Cemetery in Ware

West Cemetery in Ware is on Greenwich Plains Road 1795 for individuals and Ware Center Cemetery (Ware Center Cemetery) for ministers which is near the Ware Center Meetinghouse.

Williamsburg Center Cemetery is at 4 Village Hill Road. Take North Street from the center of town, then North Main Street, and then bear left onto Village Hill Road. It is also known as the Old Village Hill Cemetery. It is from about 1771 to 1773. It has a wrough iron fence near the entrance and the terrain drops down from there. As usual for such old cemeteries, it is along an east to west axis with most gravestones’ inscriptions pointing to the west.
