Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church is at about 51 Pleasant Street. This church is from 1923. In 1871 the parish formed and in 1872 the church was made on Bank Street. In 1887 the school ( Mt. Carmel School) and rectory (Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Rectory) was made on Convent Hill Road. The architect was Joseph Jackson. The school in the 60s became a public school.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery

The church was razed in 2013 and the land is now a playground.

Saint Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church is from 1925. It is for the Italian ethnic group. The rectory is attached to it in the back. This is the Ernest Rivers house from 1900. The addresses are 108 Bridge Street and 50 Maple Street of Agawam. At first the partish was a mission one for the Mount Carmel Church of Springfield. This mission chapel was on Walnut Street in Agawam. The library across Maple Street is from 1905.

Merrick Methodist Episcopal Church is at 802 Main Street at its corner with Russell Street in West Springfield. It is from 1879.

Brookside Cemetery has its entrance off of Porter Road. It is near a golf course near Allen Street. The cemetery is from 1803.

Billings Hill Cemetery is located at Prospect Street and Pease Road. It was formed in 1803 when Thaddeus Billings (D 1826) donated the land. Loman Billings is the first buried.

Baptist Village Cemetery is at Hampden Road and Parker Street. It was made in 1783 and is the oldest cemetery of East Longmeadow. John Swetland is one of the major burials.
