Sainte Anne Church at Meadow and G Streets formed in 1924.
These streets are now Memorial Avenue and New Bridge Street.
The church closed Dec. 31, 2008.
At that point of time, Sainte Anne parish was combined with Immaculate Conception and Saint Louis de France parishes to create Saint Frances-Xavier Cabrini parish. St. Louis de France Church was also closed at that point. The new parish worships at the former Immaculate Conception Church.
Saint Louis de France Church has its roots as a mission church starting in 1893. Its parent church was the Saint William’s Church of Agawam. This Agawam church is now called the Saint Theresa’s Church. The next year land was purchased and then a structure built in 1895. Rev Joseph M E Genest was the mission pastor. It would burn in 1900 but would quickly be rebuilt. The church was at 801 Main Street at the corner with Belle Avenue. It would stay a mission church until 1907. In 1966 the steeple was removed.

Moss homestead is at Back Street until 1904 and in that year the street’s name is changed to Homestead Avenue. By 1911 it is with a number finally – 34 Homestead. By 1920 it is with another number – 74 Homestead.
Alice is at 132 Cabot Street in 1905 and a teacher. In 1898 she is at the Back Street School. In 1886 she was an assistant at the Appleton Street School.
Andrew is at 41 Erline Street in Chicopee in 1903-4.
Bushman purchased the land from John and Justin Ely. It was 56 acres. It was part of lot 27. This lot was part of the 1707 division of land in the Holyoke area.
In 1842 Clarissa Fuller would sell the property to John C Thompson.
In 1848 the property would again be sold to Cyrus Kemp. FINDAGRAVE
His house would be taken over by the Moss family in 1862.
