Chicopee High School

Chicopee High School at Academy and Bonneville Streets

The Chicopee High School that was used from 1921 to into the 21st century is still in place bounded by Front, Academy, and Bonneville Streets. It is on land that was used by the Assumption Church until it burned in 1916. Plans were drawn up but the World War stalled all.

Our Lady of the Annunciation Church

Our Lady of the Annunciation Church had its parish set off in 1878, construction in 1879, and dedicated in October 2, 1880. Address is 83 Beacon.

The rectory was at 42 Beacon Street. In 1934 it was at 79 Beacon.

A school was built to its left in 1925.

The Frank Look house at 70 Beacon is from 1891.

Father Matthew Temperance Society Hall is at 45 Pine. It was built in 1884 as Temperance Hall.

The Annunciation School Association is at 47 Pine. It was built in 1884 as the school.
