Orrell’s Block

Orrell’s Block is from 156 to 162 High Street. It was in 1865 in the Italianate style. One occupant was the City Cigar Store (ad is from 1885)

The Loring Brothers Furniture Warerooms was in the Orrell’s Block in 1869.

The Gilbert family were millinery experts there also in in 1869.

In 1869 Thomas Mann civil engineer was here.
