Our Lady of the Rosary Church


Rectory at 28 Underwood Street in Springfield from 1853. This is the house built for Joshua Bliss Vinton. It is Italianate in style. But in 1924 the rectory was at the school.
Church is at 346 Franklin Street in Springfield from 1919. The parish started in 1917.
School at 334 Franklin St Springfield from 1919. Another John Donohue design. An addition was added in 1922. The Sisters of the Nazarene were in charge of the school.

Holy Family Church is on Eastern Avenue at the corner of King. The parish started September 29 1901 and the church was up in 1902. John Donohue is the architect.

Jabish Brook flows into the Swift River. Jabish Canal starts from the Jabish Brook. The Jabish Canal meets the Broad Brook Canal within Belchertown. The Broad Brook Canal then flows into Ludlow into a reservoir – the Springfield Reservoir.
The Virgil Pratt Saw Mill is on Kimball Street at 636 Daniel Shays Hwy. It is from 1860.
