This cemetery was mostly moved into the Island Pond Cemetery in 1902. About 475 bodies and stones were moved in that year. The land of the fomer Village Cemetery was then given to the Ludlow Mills and they built workers homes on this land.
Ingraham Brook Pond – has dam and reservoir are on small tributary of the Bachelors Brook called Ingraham Brook – two more dams are in the woods to the south along the trail system
Forge Pond – has a canal – grist mill from the Cook family – on Bachelors Brook
Aldrich Lake – CC Aldrich and E J Aldrich – Bachelors Brook
just up stream from the Aldrich is a saw mill with a tiny reservoir
the Muddy Brook has no dams. reservoirs, nor canals
Tolland was settled in 1750 and became a town in 1810.

Hamilton Cemetery – one mile east of town hall on the south side of West Granville Road (Rt 57) – earliest burial is a Thomas Hamilton from 1768 – between 12 to 75 burials
Babcock Family Cemetery – travel on Schoolhouse Road – oldest burial is a Joseph Babcock from 1833 – cemetery is 2.5 miles down the road and then take the first right, this is a trail, take the walking trail for 3/5 mile to the cemetery – nearby is the Barnes District Cemetery – Amos Case Road
Burt Hill Cemetery – west on the West Granville Road and then take Burt Hill Road – Lucina Harrison is the earliest burial 1842 – lots of the Marshall family inside
Moore Cemetery – 700 feet up Clubhouse Road – tiny place
South Quarter Cemetery – on Rivers Road off of Heartland Road
Spring Hill Cemetery – Tolland Center Cemetery – West Granville Road (Rt 57) east of the center of town – 1776 burial
Steadman Cemetery – Rivers Road off of Heartland Road – about 1754
Twining Cemetery – West Granville Road (Rt 57) two miles west of the center of the town – Elijah Twining 1802 – on an old turnpike
