American Braiding Company

Behind you on Race Street is the former American Electric Cable Company.  It started as American Braiding Company in 1918 but changed in the 1920s.  They made strong laces and spun cable products. These items included making shoe laces. There was a name change decades ago. In recent history it is owned by Cubit. Holyoke Community College runs it as a culinary arts studio. Also there are residential units. In the basement there are small business units.

Springfield District Court is from 1930.

It is at 1600 East Columbus Avenue of Springfield Massachusetts.

Springfield Municipal Group includes the Symphony Hall and Springfield City Hall. In between those two is the last component: the Clock Tower.
