Edwards Congregational Church was organized in 1832 and made in 1833 at the corner of Main and South Streets (near the present day Thornes). May 19 1870 it burned to the ground. The next one was made in 1871 and dedicated Feb 8 1872. It was on Main and State Streets.
In 1958 a new church was made.
